Re: 3D print extra parts: Stormsurge, Riptide, Piranha, ...

Thanks for all your hard work dude. Have you ever thought about scaling down the hands for Crisis suits?

If I ever pick up a Stormsurge, I'm going to be order quite a few or your parts.

I think it's a case of being abused for so long, you're suspicious of why you're being treated nicely.

Or, not.

Re: Magnet Suggestions?

http://www.kjmagnetics.com/

I always buy from there and have never had issues. I've probably magnetized about 3 dozen models, including my Ghostkeel, Riptide and Crisis suits. Piece of advice, if you need 25 magnets, buy 50. You'll find a use for them, trust me... :-)

Re: Tau Bastion

For things like that, I would use balsa wood as a "core" and cover it with plasticard. Either that or forego the balsa wood. Personally, I would use balsa. Cut a piece about 1/8 narrower than what you need on the upright, then use plasticard to cover it the full width. That way the card gi...

Re: Let's Contact GW!

HOW you present your ideas is almost more important than the idea itself sometimes. Despite any lofty goals of being reasonable and civil in how we (these forums) present it, there are going to be players who rage in an incoherent manner demanding outlandish concessions. We can't control that, but w...

Re: Let's Contact GW!

I did play testing for Privateer Press for 6 years and worked with the development team. I can tell you with a fair degree of certainty that saying simply, "Broadsides are overpriced!" is not considered good feedback. Detailing how they're close to points as a Hammerhead, but lack the mane...

Re: The run to 8th edition

Drones as unit is a crap rule and I'm hoping that changes in the Codex. The battle was kinda "spikey". The Khorne player missed more than the average saves and charges. The Broadside was the MVU because it seemed to be on point every roll. Of course the constant re-rolling of the cocked di...

Looking for reviews on Guevesa'la

So, I like the Kroot rules but don't really like the models. I'd like to use some of the after-market bits that are out there. Currently, the top 3 are; Puppet Wars - Troopers. You can buy the whole unit at one fell swoop, have the options to swap out heads and the pics look good. The bad part is I'...

Re: Tau Auxiliaries/Kickstarter

Friend of mine bought Deadzone. The models are either true 25mm or maybe 20mm. Definitely too small to use alongside any 40k models.
