Ok.... (picks jaw off the floor) I thought you'd used a stock photo when I first saw the picture.. Very nice paint job!

Nice work. Quite a striking colour scheme. Always like conversions, seeing something different --well played! :)

Re: Airbrushing indoors

Basic breathing mask and ventilation are essential if you care about your health. Boxed spay booth pretty essential for a non-workshop space (made mined from an old shoe box) and I found a bin liner made for a good wider surface protector. Goggles aren't necessary (IMO), but maybe gloves to not be s...

Liking the body guards, with old school weaponry. Nice weathering on the rips, considered a bit on the xv8s?

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 09/10/17]

That is one of the nicer --if not nicest, Guillimans I have seen. The metal is really well done, and exacerbates the God-like stature of the character. As a follower of Lincoln, do you have any Ma.K? I really like the aesthetics of those models too. I've wandered in to other painting techniques vide...

Re: Budget airbrush & garage compressor setup advice

I use Vallejo airbrush cleaner and water. It's simple to disassemble too. The only part I've not cleaned is the air valve(?) it's more encased than the rest of the assembly.

Re: [WIP] Onos Alternative Models and Auxiliaries Project

Such imaginative work, really great. I really like the alternative Piranha --it reminds me a little of Star Citizen's Nox, but that's no bad thing!

Too early to say obviously, but is the bike(?) a product you will sell?

Re: Where would you put a Seeker Missile on an old Broadside?

I know exactly what you mean. You don't want to over burden the poor fellows.

I have my antique XV88s with under-slung railguns, so the stacked missile pods might look okay.

Re: Where would you put a Seeker Missile on an old Broadside?

You might be able to double up on the shoulder mounted weaponry, then use the spare as a hardpoint?

Re: Arka0415's Tau Sept Project Log

I'm glad you pointed out the skewiness, it was messing with my OCD :P (jokes)

It may define a Commamder as an XV85, but any decent club would let you use them anyway; I guess not the tournament scene though.

Group photo? :)

Re: Comm_nagrom's Tau Empire rebuild

Both good, my preference is the purifier scheme, as I prefer eccentric.

Gold looks good on Tau Sept weaponry. Many here have expressed a dislike to gold armour, but it's your hobby, do what you want.

Make many schemes, then you choose which you like the most :fear:

Re: Ke'lshan Cadre and other works

FORTNIGHT PROGRESS REPORT The drones are very nearly complete; just some more highlighting really, and I'll spend time on a proper shot when they are. http://pixeljunk.cinosure.com/20180118_225059.jpg Wouldn't picture without looking washed out, so more post-editing than I would like. Was going to ...

Those are really nice. I'm a huge fan of subtle or elegant conversions, and I think you've nailed theres. I'll be back here for inspiration.
