Re: 3500 points Mobility list: I have NBTD

No, no, no, no, no... I see exactly what you’re saying but you are so wrong. You have to look at the wording, (and also rules as intended) it took me a few moments to figure out how to counter your argument but it’s in literally a few letters: When a unit is set up, any accompanying Drones must be p...

Re: Onmyou's Motivation Service

Yeah :-? It I quite amitious haha, I’m going to do it in a sort of assembly line of painting which I think will be the most efficient way of getting them look uniform.

Re: 3500 points Mobility list: I have NBTD

As Arka said, I don’t think there is a drone loophole. When you bring Drones with squads they come in pairs and therefore when they’re separate units they can loose one or two Drones to an attack, if you loose two Drones then there is no need to take a morale tests as they are both dead :P but if yo...

Re: Is LOS by model or unit? Question on RAW

@Studioworks, obviously that is what intuition would say but what @Manbearfrink is saying is that we want/need to see rules quoted from the BRB to back this up. RAW all members of your team would be able to shoot at a target unit. I always imagine it as each member of the team poking his/her head ro...

Re: [Project] Stuff from the Forge V2

I love your AX-2-2 Tiger Shark! The Remoras were one of my favourite units last edition, haven't played them much this edition (are they any good?) and does your AX-2-2 have much utility on the table. I appreciate that there aren't rules for it so it would have to be in a friendly game but have you ...

Re: Charging, faq, errata, and command point reroll conflict.

I guess this also applies to the pseudo melta rule on our fusion blasters and many other weapons, where you roll two dice and pick the highest - would you only reroll one with the CP or would you reroll both?

Re: Keeping Longstrike Alive

That's not what I was saying, yes the drones would more easily intercept the shot hence why you don't need to roll to intercept a shot but what I'm saying is that bodyguards would tank it better than drones and have more chance surviving it once hit.

Re: Keeping Longstrike Alive

Are Bodyguards intercepting a partial Lascannon beam? Would love to see a ruling on this. Haha I didn't think about it like that! :P that is how it would work in a "fluff" sense unless you think that it punches a hole right through the battle suit and the remenants of the beam hits the ta...

Re: The run to 8th edition

What's the general consensus on how victory points in missions which award them for destroying units are handled for units with drones. Now that drones basically do their own thing, what is your take on this? With SM tactical squads splitting up into combat squads (unit of ten halves into two units...

Re: The run to 8th edition

How do people model their Gue'vesa? Because in the fluff they're given T'au armour and weapons so unless you had, say a Shas'ui without his/her helmet on and some distinct markings to show that the rest of the unit is human theres really no way to tell the difference between a T'au fire warrior and ...

Re: The run to 8th edition

So according to this leaked page the core rules start on page 177... are the previous pages all lore?!? (Mixed feelings about this as I love lore but I know we all hoped for a short and concise rules set that was easy to reference...) :?
