Re: Terrain and Objectives

https://i.imgur.com/UzPYNG0.jpg Update on current project, I've painted the tree, added a wall at the base .. it now looks like there might have been a tower in the end there - a church maybe - I'm making some more stones, out of milliput, that I want to scatter and to have them stick out of the gr...

.. love that, I'm sad that GW has dropped the rules for Ork looted machines, I have a Lockheed C-130 Hercules that would do nicely for something like that.

What's the lego piece ?

Re: Aun’Shi in 8th Ed

Interestingly enough, Aun'va and Aun'shi aren't limited for the targets of their buffs. Aun'va is locked to T'au Sept, but his buffs effect all T'au Empire units. Same goes for Aun'shi, he's Vior'la, but his buffs can affect anyone. So, if it turns out that Sept perks only impact, say, infantry and...

Re: Aun’Shi in 8th Ed

In one of my games against marines with like 50 kroot, dogs and shapers he did great, killed some marines and help my kroot to stay in the field (20 kroot killed a dreadnought in one round of shooting and combat :D when that metal box assaulted them) I have had a similar experience back in .. 6th ....

https://i.imgur.com/qXsogB5.jpg Current project, a house ruin, in a forest setting, I've added a walkway around what is left of the main wall, added a tree ( wires + milliput ) and cut out and pastered a path down to base, the point of the piece is to have a snipers nest / a way for infantry to sta...

Re: 2000 pts, Best use of what I have.

Don't use Strike Teams to screen for anyone. They're too slow, use them as backfield objective-holders or turn 1 anti-Deep Strike bubble wrap units. Ok, thanks! .. I've never really felt that they where that useful, didnt think about the anti-"deep strike", makes sense. Also, Longstrike a...

Re: Fire Warriors are good again!

also what is your point regarding battalions? Sorry I must have missed the change. It's transitive change, command points are worth more -> therefore having detachment with more command points is more advantageous. Exactly. Drones don't make Battalions. Taking small groups of Pathfinders and Drones...

Re: Fire Warriors are good again!

1. I see the point of more CP === use strategem more. 2. I don't see the point of debating Tau FW vs other army infantry here, isnt this about the strategem > drones ? :-? 3. I'm not used to that many FireWarrior squads, and missing the ( minimum ) 120 points really hurts when I'm trying to build a...
