My only concern with stealth suits is that they're 30 points for a T3 1W 3+ model. The burst cannons are good and obviously being jetpack infantry is useful, they're just not as cost effective as some other units. I'd agree with Panzer that plasma is a good option, removing armour saves is very powerful in kill team and it really does depend on your meta. In my experience tau can suffer a bit in kill team, as our unit synergy with marker lights is somewhat lessened. I have had good results with crisis suits with a twin linked missile pod, mixed with some fire warriors, just make sure you have 3 decent units for your specialists, making a fire warrior...

I'd go for pulse rifle fire warriors over breachers, the extra range is worth it over the gain in AP.

I wouldn't bother with drones for pathfinders, just keep them cheap, put them in cover and maybe give them a shas'ui for the LD bonus.

Remember than anything S6+ will cause instant death to ripper swarms. Although any massed fire will do, it just means you have to chew through all 3 wounds if its less than S6
