Re: seated command suit

Really nice job on the alternate posing Lore, You could try scratch building greaves based on the Forge World XV8s (a personal favourite). The head is great, perhaps consider loosing the Tau Sept symbol? To my mind it looks a bit off...

Looking forward to more...

Re: Ironsky's desert operations Cadre: Gue'la WIP1

Thanks Lore!
I had looked into numerous alternate options, but didn't like the sculpts as much as the Forge World Tallarns. I'll look forward to seeing your models!

Great work! Everything looks really nice and smooth. The bases are nicely done - I love the Firewarrior on the base of your Riptide!

Re: Ironsky's desert operations Cadre: Gue'la WIP1

Thanks Tael-yeah I was annoyed at how long it took me to realise how perfect Tallarns are for the role (especially as Forge World have discontinued them now...).

Re: Ironsky's desert operations Cadre: Finished Ethereal

Thanks Tael ! Its actually a Longstrike model, with a greenstuff/XV8 exhaust jump pack, but I think it does have a more streamlined aesthetic than the XV25s. I've made a start on some Gue'la. This is a project I've been wanting to do for a long time; I briefly tinkered with a Cadian heavy weapons te...

Re: Ironsky's desert operations Cadre: Finished Kroot

Thanks Tael ! Auxiliaries will definitely be up next, but firstly; I promised a repainted Ethereal two years ago: https://i.imgur.com/jg2gwWu.jpg Having finished up the Kroot I quickly painted him up before heading away from my hobby desk for the holidays https://i.imgur.com/gJ9dG0p.jpg There'll be ...

Yes welcome to ATT! Constructive criticism aside (I also struggle with white), you have a nice, striking scheme and the base looks great!

That turret is very nice. The contrast between the black tank and Longstrike's lighter armour works very well too!

I really like your green scheme!

48 firewarriors sounds like quite a challenge, I'm looking forward to seeing your results.

Keep up the good work,

Re: Longstrike with closed hatch?

My favourite conversion for this I've seen is abraxus' Hammerhead ( Here ). Unfortunately the images were on photobucket, but PeeJ has suggested a fix , which will let you see the images. In difference to abraxus' model I would look into using the ghostkeel cockpit, as the interior detail would make...

Re: [now working] Ka'nite sept Fire Warriors

Very striking :) It's nice to finally see these, and certainly worth the wait! I like the seeker missile placement on the Devilfish, I've always put them on the underside where they easily snap off. I may re-position them now...

Re: Devil fish help please

There are several lists of online retailers (some of which specialise in spare parts) in the Resources section. This one has a range of options. I can personally recommend UK based bitsandkits , which is not listed; but which I have been using for years. Unfortunately with bits sites they tend to re...

That is the most classily dressed Kroot (shaper) I've ever seen. Love the big hat. Also it's nice to finally see the model behind the avatar!

Good luck with the weekly targets!

I'll be watching ;)

Wow. You have been busy! That's a seriously impressive amount of stuff you've painted since the last post! (I personally can see the pictures, but photobucket seems to still work for me too...?) I really like how you've painted the dawn blade and lighting effects on fusion blasters etc. Tony is imme...
