Re: Devil fish help please

There are several lists of online retailers (some of which specialise in spare parts) in the Resources section. This one has a range of options. I can personally recommend UK based bitsandkits , which is not listed; but which I have been using for years. Unfortunately with bits sites they tend to re...

16 years? I guess time does fly when you're having fun...

That is the most classily dressed Kroot (shaper) I've ever seen. Love the big hat. Also it's nice to finally see the model behind the avatar!

Good luck with the weekly targets!

I'll be watching ;)

Re: El ZorDacK Cadre

Wow. You have been busy! That's a seriously impressive amount of stuff you've painted since the last post! (I personally can see the pictures, but photobucket seems to still work for me too...?) I really like how you've painted the dawn blade and lighting effects on fusion blasters etc. Tony is imme...

Slow progress but well worth it! Enviable painting from you there; work like this makes me want to go back and re-paint everything in my collection... ...EDIT: Looks like I am unable to change the "subject" name while writing a new post... The new cadre name is "The Unkown" and y...

Re: [WIP] El'mos return to the Greater Good - new projects

I see you stuck with the mini drone hat then? All looking very nice, I really need to clear my backlog of projects and get my hands on some of the Wargames exclusive stuff.

Always good to see your work-keep it coming!

Re: What to do with an XV88-2

He does get better results than I've managed with bluestuff, I started with silicon moulds before discovering bluestuff, so haven't really bothered with anything more than a press mould, but it does look worth a try... More on topic I have somewhere seen XV88-2s sawn in half across the torso (removi...

Re: What to do with an XV88-2

...on another note you can use single piece of bluestuff for all your molds whi makes it quite economical especially.as you can fill the mold with pretty much anything that isnt hot... The actual mould is more expensive if you use silicon, but resin is much cheaper than greenstuff. The mould does t...

Re: What to do with an XV88-2

A silicon mould would be much more detailed than a bluestuff mould (you can get a resin casting kit on Amazon for c.£25), working out much cheaper overall as you save on greenstuff too... :crafty:

Re: Ironsky's desert operations Cadre

A quick photo dump of progress so far: https://i.imgur.com/9MBicIF.jpg The skin needs a final highlight and the quills need a few more layers, then all that'll be left is weapons, leather, details and bases! https://i.imgur.com/XBFRLLC.jpg https://i.imgur.com/iO2o18U.jpg Progress will continue at a ...

Re: 3D print extra parts: Stormsurge, Riptide, Piranha, ...

http://www.st-v-sw.net/images/Wars/Episodes/RoTJ/atstcab8.jpg It's nice to be in an universe where is no Wookie hijackers... That is the most compelling argument I've seen for the Stormsurge being open topped. Clearly the Earth Caste had proved the non-existence of Wookies, and decided all was fine...

Oh wow, that Shotgun really turned out :D I used silicon shapers for the first time during this project, and I really wish I'd got some years ago! You and me both my blue brother. Loving them...
