Re: New Tigershark AX 1-0 Images

I absolutely love these Forgeworld flyers. They're everything Tau titan-hunters should be- not giant walkers, but strike aircraft that can swoop in, blast stuff, and fly out. Beautiful. But, I just can't justify the price tag (in points) since they're probably not all that competitive. The Barracud...

Re: Upcoming T'au Codex

Ah yes the minor hand slap battle. Come our update we're going to start kicking some serious ass again. I wonder if this mean's we need to show the IoM how to kick chaos ass this edition? Or will we be fighting a mixed array of targets in stories now?

Re: Upcoming T'au Codex

I have a bad feeling we won't even see Xenos next year other than token codex drops. Until I see a major and big xenos release with my own eyes I get the feeling it's just going to be 30k MK2 primarch land for a long long looooong time. We know Fires of Cyraxus has been effectively shelved because o...

Re: Start Collecting disappears in the US

I can confirm that the start collecting and fire blade are discontinued, verbal confirmation from a retailer that they won't be available again. However that same retailer was told that new products will be avaliable in coming months, he told me from experience that usually means updated models and...

Re: Start Collecting disappears in the US

Lots of DW stuff sold out and is clearly not returning. I wouldn't count on it. If you really want a model marked no longer available online get it now. The DW bikes can't be ordered in Canada anymore and are a huge savings on the combined bikes + upgrade sprue scheme they got going on now. I grabbe...

Re: 8th Ed FORGEWORLD Tau

It seems XV9's are slowly getting sold out at FW. This has happened with all the other models that have been recast (except Kroot) so perhaps we'll see update XV9? I love the model but it was really showing its age. Hopefully this is the case.

Re: New Tigershark AX 1-0 Images

I really can't wait to get one with the heavy railgun! It looks ace! I wonder how long does it take for it to come out though, since its on warhammer community at the moment. I wanna say... 2 months or so. I tend to notice the Tau FW stuff from reveal to sale takes a month or two to go up for preor...

Re: New Tigershark AX 1-0 Images

The community site says that's the ax 1-0. It even says it's a fast moving tank destroyer. On the flip side It's not outside the realm of possibility forgeworld doesn't know what model it's making right?

That is weird your right. It should be showing the two variants.

Hopefully this works.

Edit
It won't let me post multiple links per post now. Weird.

Warhammer community even says they are heavy rail cannons.

New Tigershark AX 1-0 Images

"The fleets of the T’au Air Caste are being reinforced with the re-made Tiger Shark AX-1-0 – a fast moving tank destroyer armed with two heavy rail cannons. There’s also upcoming variants with burst cannons and ion cannons on display." I wonder if that means they will sell the variants sep...

Re: Airwings and the Tiger Shark Fighter-Bomber

There is a thread with leaked pics of the new reworked Tigershark model, but FW as yet has to put it back up. If we're going to see it at all this year it should be out the open day coming up this sunday. This is kind of their last real big show for the year. Allegedly there are rumours floating aro...

Re: The Tau Sorcerer

The closest thing I could see for Tau psykers is similar to Kharadron Overlords anti-warp tech. It's not explained at all how they do it just that they can and it involves a rare substance. For the Tau I could see "nanotechnology fields" as their anti-warp technology. All it would take is ...

Re: Let's Contact GW! (Round 2)

So apparently Reece has implied that GW knows the Riptide "couldn't be any more useless". Also warns against making commander spam lists since they will likely see adjustments. I hope they re-balance the dex so we're still competitive without having to resort to commander spam.

What bits are you using for the beam sabres. I've been looking everywhere for some. Red in particular.

Re: Upcoming T'au Codex

Easily solved by making the commander unit of the sept give special rules to represent their unique buffs ect. I do hope they dish out at least one unique character per sept featured (eventually) but I don't want them to drown us either since I tend not to be fond of pre-made characters.
