Almost nothing is completely immune to moral in 8th. There are only really two ways to handle things: either make almost everything immune to it (like in 7th which was terrible) because every faction is written like they are the most fearless badasses of the universe unless you are an Imperial Guard...

Nah. Not for the Markerlight at least. I'd much rather have the Fusion Blaster hit in Overwatch than getting a single Markerlight on the charging unit. ^^

It's even meh against GEQ. A Commander kills an average of ~1.1 Firewarrior/Skitarii Ranger/whatever with ATS and ~0.8 without. Yawn. Not worth building anything around. An additional weapon would do a LOT more. Same thing with Crisis Suits. A unit of 3 Crisis Suits would kill an average of ~1.04 Fi...

Not always as the ATS makes you better at CC. I am finding being in CC very useful and go for ATS over more weapons. Barely. T'au are bad in CC whether they take ATS or not. Even a Commander is only okay-ish despite WS3+. Equipping T'au for CC is a waste of points and potential. The thing we can do...

Even against 3+ armor ATS is usually not worth it compared to an additional weapon.

I'd say 4-6 is the optimal size. Only exception would be a Crisis unit with more than 3 Crisis suits ... take all the Drones possible there. ^^

ATS is worth it as long as you cannot take an additional weapon. So, Ghostkeels, Riptides, SS, and the like. Suits you always want more weapon systems over ATS. Not always as the ATS makes you better at CC. I am finding being in CC very useful and go for ATS over more weapons. Barely. T'au are bad ...

ATS is usually not worth it over an additional weapon unfortunately. I like to take it on Stealth Suits with Burst Cannons and on bigger suits with, multi-shot low AP weapons though but only because other support systems are rarely better. Also keep in mind that there are effects that ignore AP-1 on...

Well if that's the wording then RAI is clear but RAW you can actually do that I'd say. Needs an Errata to change 'damage' into 'wound' asap.

Yeah hitting on 3+ is good enough for 4 Fusion Blaster. However VT would be an option on other suits like HYMP Broadsides or CIB Crisis.

Excelent desing and explanation, the XV25 's looks more like assault troops than infiltrators to me, why assault like guns? Would not be better silent railguns?... ;) Because their purpose is to reveal themselves behind enemy lines and cause havoc and confusion. Works better with a loud and flashy ...

I really like both versions but I don't think that any design that's still true to the T'au designs can match the coolness of a Space Marine Assault Cannon. :P
