Restricting non-walker vehicles but not walker and monster is ridiculous unless there is a narrative reason for it lol

But well it's a low point tournament. Those are never exactly balanced are meant to be taken not too seriously in the first place anyway.

Eh that mostly doesn't matter. It's more of a question of what terrain you put on it (ruins, LoS blocker, scatter terrain etc.)

The problem is that both, an additional weapon and the ATS, have the purpose of increasing the models damage output. One of them will always be better than the other. I put an ATS on my Dual Burst HAZARD suits. I haven't done the math, but my experience tells me that my opponents really hate them. It's different with the hazards, Riptide, ghostkeels etc as the ATS is an add on it doesn't replace a weapon which is my main question, I have no doubt I would rather ...

Yeah but I think that was a good change. Infantry was getting killed waaaay too fast in 7th. Now infantry is actually worth taking apart from the inital burst again.

As far as I'm concerned, a unit has all the special rules it has on the Datasheet unless the text in that special rule says only a specific model from that unit has it or similar exceptions. Also it appears you just have been lucky or your opponent extremely unlucky. Normaly you'd need 45 Pulse shots to kill a unit of 10 Poxwalker on average and that's without any buffs or debuffs from any side. Oh, don't do the math about Pulse Rifles! It's always so depressing. I agree on that the design element of the weapons on the shoulders was/is great. Like the beakies. That doesn't mean the model itself is great though. ;)

Well the Target Lock does something if you want it to do something. Keep in mind that it doesn't just let us shoot heavy weapons without penalty after moving, it also let us shoot assault weapons without penalty after advancing and rapid fire weapons after advancing with a -1 to-hit penalty. ;)

Would definitely recommend using the bigger sizes for both Stealth Suits and Crisis/Broadside. Less arguing with super picky opponents, models fall over less often and more space to do some basing.
