Re: Newbie Slapfight: My first 500 point battle

Thanks!

I didn't want to play alongside anyone really. We didn't strategize or anything anyways so it was more like them going off on their own, while I dealt with trying to hurt gulliman.

Hopefully next week will go better.

Re: Newbie Slapfight: My first 500 point battle

So I played my first game last night. The guy that has been deemed the organizer of the 40k group at the store, decided I should team up with two other newbies. These were two 16 year old kids who were very spastic and couldn't focus on the game for more than 5 minutes without looking at their phone...

Newbie Slapfight: My first 500 point battle

So I'm about to play my first 40k game tomorrow and the guy helping me learn told me to come up with a 500 point list. My thought was to avoid expensive lynchpin models that need support, and just focus on throwing bodies and dice. Originally I had missile pods on the crisis suits with no thrusters,...

Re: Babies First Army: And you can too!

As per usual, touchups etc. Finally got the confidence to paint my Ethereal! http://imgur.com/TXuGbXt.jpg http://imgur.com/PZypeB6.jpg http://imgur.com/tpFXNeP.jpg I'm surprised how well it goes with the theme. It took me an hour just to decide on colors before I even touched the paint. I ...

Re: Tactical Objective / Warlord Trait Card Folio

This is a cool tally counter I found for keeping track of various stuff. You can customize the colors, groupings, positive or negative integers and a bunch of other stuff. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yingwen.counter Not sure if there is an iOS version or not, sorry Apple folks!...

Re: Tactical Objective / Warlord Trait Card Folio

This is all I used: http://imgur.com/krpWeB9.jpg Basically you cut half the card protector off so it makes a little pocket. http://imgur.com/VvBoSRE.jpg Arrange them on one side of the folder with some glue. Cut a page that will fit inside from another folder, punch holes and affix the larger card p...
