Re: Sourcing hammerhead bits

There are hammerhead turret sprues that pop up on eBay a couple times a month. They are sold by hord’o’bits and are usually 14.99.

What if a vehicle that was reduced to 0 wounds by a railgun automatically exploded, no dice roll?

Re: Upcoming T'au Codex

Balancing aside and it might sound super fan-boyish but T'au should be superior in any field except melee and soldier count. I would really like to see T'au go a low model count elite army. In Warzone Damocles they talk about millions of T'au soldiers though... Against billions of Imperial Guardsme...

Re: 1500 Pts. vs DeathGuard CC welcome!

This is all true; however, that is an a-hole list to begin with. If someone brings that out in a casual setting, I tell them to get the f out of my house (that's where I casually game). If they bring it in a competitive setting, then they should be prepared for me to dance around scoring objectives...

Re: Photon Grenades -- What's the Point?

I have started to use photon grenades lately and they have actually made a significant difference in charges from non-dedicated melee units.

Re: Commander in XV81

First off magnetize the weapons of they aren’t already. For weapon options I would go with 2 missile pods, because it already has 1 sms. For a battlefield role I would use it to sit on an objective in cover and provide some anti infantry/anti light vehicle support. Maybe swap out one missile pod for...

A picture of a fully painted riptide. Newly painted and already in combat vs. an imperial knight. He actually managed to survive.

Re: ITC competitive T'au (can we hang?)

i've had a lot of success with infiltrating the stealth suits near my opponents deployment zone out of line-of-sight. Then i deep strike in my flamer/gun drone crisis with the homing beacon along with some commanders and a coldstar, this has allowed me to take out a significant portion of their army...

My FLGS had a sale last week, so I bought this little guy; https://i.imgur.com/hO0toTK.jpg https://i.imgur.com/a6nVzN5.jpg Looks like everyone else is making great progress too. I was also able to field a fully painted 2,000 point army in my last tournament. Next step, painting weapon options for my...

Re: Let's Contact GW! (Round 3)

Okay, here's the current idea as it is! We're contacting you again from the forum Advanced Tau Tactica, where we've recently been talking about how the T’au Index is balanced. We noticed three things that we feel make the current T’au ruleset considerably weaker than those of other armies: 1. T’au ...

Re: Anyone tried a Tau close Combat theme list in this edition?

i think of ATS as showing where the weak points are (fuel line, thin armor, ammo storage and such), so from a fluff standpoint it would work in close combat.
