Also which kill team are you referring to? the old old one? the newer one or the shadow war one? That one should've been obvious. The SW:A one has no Firewarrior and WAY different point values... It wasn't that's why I asked. He mentioned playing 5th ed. Wasn't there a kill team In the back of that...

I might be missing something here but I think your points values are wrong. I think you have added up points for the various upgrades but not for the people themselves. e.g A crisis Shasvre would be: 22 points for the shasui +10 to upgrade the shasui to shasvre +30 for the weapons +20 for the multi ...

Am I right in thinking that only one crisis suit in a unit needs to have VRT for the entire unit to have hit and run?

Played against them yesterday and I can say they were tough and its been the worst defeat I've had as Tau. firstly he rolled great for the cult ambush meaning most of his genestealers and patriarch were on the table behind my lines turn 1 and proceeded to rip my ghostkeel and pathfinders to shreds. ...

At less than 2k is a Tau'nar suitable for all those points? Would a storm surge not be as effective but cost less allowing you to take more mobile units (or fixing as you said your lack of marker lights)?
