Re: Vior'la sept - Agrax vs Nuln Oil

If you download the citadel paint app, you can select the color you want. It shows what paints were used and then give an example of what it looks like. There are whites with both of the shades you're thinking about. I found it really helpful when I was choosing colors. In that same app if you sear...

Re: Starting an Army

everything was said before, but would like to add one more plus The DS8 turret you can pin the SMS and the Missile Pod very easily. Also involves a bit of drilling (1mm) and a paperclip and your cutter. That way you can swap out between the 2 very easily. Drill hole in SMS bit put bit of paperclip i...

Re: Onmyou's Motivation Service

Well as I update my blog now on a regular basis on a monday evening per 2 weeks, I guess I can try and make my short term goals per 2 weeks. I have finished my Cadre Fireblade https://wargamingbysks.files.wordpress.com/2018/02/battleready-007-cadre-fireblade1.jpg https://wargamingbysks.files.wordpre...

Re: [Project] Steg's T'au, Sa'cea Sept in snow camo

Wow that colour scheme really pops! It really sits nice on that Cadre Fireblade. Thank you! I'm really glad the 2 white's work so nice with the bright orange especially now that I'm working up to bigger models that have higher rank and thus more Sept colors. And there is enough black/grey to break ...

Re: Upcoming T'au Codex

PS: Does anybody know if the collector's edition codex is worth it? I'm a little hesitant to buy it after all the writing mistakes that went into the other codices. I don't want a 100 dollar book that has crappy writing. I don't think so, but on different reasons.. First I want to take my Codex wit...

Re: PeeJs sept rebuild project

For special Drones I use the markings I give the unit they belong with. For Gun, ML and Shield drones I give them all the same basic marking: Gun Drones just a simple line ( | ), ML Drones Line with bottom half thicker ( |. ), Shield Drones Line with top half thicker ( |' ). (or other way around...c...

All in all it would help if GW made a more distinct wording for things happening around To Wound rolls and things happening around Wounds characteristic

Re: Commander w/ Tenacious Survivor and Shield Drones

As I do agree on the normal wounding pattern (successful wounds is after rolling To Wound) I do sense there is a consensus about Mortal wounds that can also be passed on to drones. This is a direct damage thing deducting the W characteristic, but is handled as an automatic successful Wound roll and ...

Re: Eternal War rules vs Infiltrators

Infiltration (Special rule) supercedes the general rule of deployment.
Infiltration is 12" from enemy models by the way (not 9")

Specifically: yes you may deploy them next to the relic as long as you don't violate the 12" away from enemy models or any other rule that way.
