I'd be happy with a T'au version of Genestealer cult blood brothers letting us take an AM detachment which would
1. Have some tasty units in it but not overwhelming
2. Psyker access
3. Access to armour sentinels which are far superior to broadsides :D

One thing I'm looking forward to that it seems to be prevalent in the new Codexes is relic weapons apart from the onager gauntlet we have never really had anything like that. I can't see an abundance of melee weapons or even ranged relic weapons due to our considerable choice of weapons already, but...

Does anyone rate burst cannons at all for crisis suits?
A squad of 3x3 will do 7.8 wounds to GEQ vs 7.4 for CIB and is 72 points cheaper which coincidentally would be another suit so for same points you get 10.5 wounds vs 7.4 and an extra body.

Yup Panzer is 100% correct which I think every agrees is daft as nails but models only get a cover save if both 100% in a terrain feature and are either infantry or every model is 50% obscured. So if the arse end of your tank is 1/2" outside that forest you don't get a save even if 50% obscured.

Ah, how things have changed! That would have been a fun list in earlier editions. Though, maybe the issue is this- Codex-equiped factions like AdMech and Space Marines have the liberty of taking less-than-competitive units and buffing them up with synergy and strategems, while we Tau don't get that...

I like it, I just wish I hadn't already played and been tabled, the first thing I thought was ghostkeel needed fusion as it was last to die. Also stim injector did nothing between 3 models and 22 wounds it didn't save 1! Also I don't have many drones 6 I think? I bought my army 2nd hand in 5th ed :D...
