Dealing with Leman Russ Tanks

Hello. So my friends and I are playing a campaign with several battles at 1k, 1,5k and 2k points. There is an Astra Militarum player, who fields about 4/5 Leman at 1k and 1,5k, and more at 2k (besides other tanks like some Tank Commanders). I'm impressed with the points efficiency of the Leman. It's...

Re: Savior Protocols Inquiry

I don't think so, but the discussion is open for debate till FAQ'ed.. In my opinion a Mortal wound is just a direct Damage point, so better discuss with your oponent or roll for it The rulebook specifically states that mortal wounds are "allocated just like any other wound." I agree thoug...

I thought of using six or so of them. Then in the critical moment light up with ML that 3++ or 4++ headache and burn it.

Markerlights, cover, and other factions.

Hello, fellows. So I'm playing with an Astra Militarum allied, against Dark Angels. 1000+1000 vs 2000 So the 4 markerlight say: "The target unit does not gain any bonus to it's savings throws for being in cover." In the others descriptions says expressly "Tau Empire units". But i...

Re: 1000 pts friendly-ish list

Hello fellow commander, thank you for your feedback. Off to the right start with the Quad Fusion Commander. Yeah! I learn his ways here on ATT! He seems to be the brighter star around here. I like the Firesight marksman. Its a cheap elite choice for Vanguard detachment, team it up with the patherfin...

Re: 1000 pts friendly-ish list

Hello Kiran, thank you for answer my questions. I have some doubts: How compeditive do you want the lists to be?? Well, I want to win games, oviously. But is a campaing with friends, so some licences can be made. I have not tried the sniper drones, but with them lacking the mortal wound mechanic is ...

Yes. Sometimes it's so simple that one miss the shoot. There are times when a tree prevents you from seeing the forest.
Thank you all.

1000 pts friendly-ish list

Hello there! My friends and I are starting a campaing. We are all novices in W40k. The campaing will use army of diferents sizes: 1000, 1500 and 2000. I must asemble 3 armies, one of each size, to play with. Also, we have a "side army" option: since the armies are fixed, and we cannot chan...

Pay for drones embarked?

Quick question:
do we need to pay for the drones that "come" with the Devilfish or Piranhas?
I mean, to the chasis cost add the weapon cost and add the drone cost for a total of 138 with FB f.i.?

Re: How can I buy?

Well, finally I could buy! A friend's sister had a french boyfriend (some years ago). I have him as Facebook friend, so I contact him, and he agreed to receive the models and then re-dispatch them to me. I'm very happy. The prices buying in Europe are very good, compared to the ones that we have. W...

Haha. Totally. But I remember him like a good guy. So I make a try.
I meet him here in Argentina, 2003 or so, and had very good moments.
I think is like the good guy Greg meme or something.

Re: Kerrygan

Well, it is used to refer to a place that is very far. A "loma" is a knoll, and "traste" means butt. So the phrase refers to the buttock as it is far from oneself's head. I don't know, is a very common phrase here, although finding the meaning is something far-fetched. In Englis...
