Re: Update: Tau Speed Painting - PAGE 18

The reminescence is clear, a perfect reproduction of Lord Dirk design! It would be perfect if you'll be the sculptor of Lord Dirk artwork. I'll pay all the gold of the galaxy for those models ;)

Re: [WIP] Onos Alternative Models and Auxiliaries Project

Woow man! That helmet is astonishing, really good work, impressive, I like so much Lord Dirk design and you have sculpted a pefect reproduction! My complment! And the hounds... terrifying and really alienish, perfect work! Only a critique: It seems to be bigger than a Kroot hound, is it true?

Re: Ko'Vas' Cadre Units

I don't like so much the purple colour scheme, but it's only my opinion, about the painting I don't like how you put the colour on the model, probably it's a problem linked with the base colour, maybe it could be better with a darker colour.

Not bad man! One question: it seems to be not so plain the green stuff work between the folds of the hoods, I can't see in the pictures..

Re: El ZorDacK Cadre

It's a pity for the highlightning man, too thick IMO, another think is the tridimensionality of the wethering on the armour, it seems to be a simple dot work? I mean, do you painted some simple dots or have you done some highlightnings under the dots?

I prefer this for alternative vespids:

For me better than Reddog series, probably less tauish but they fit really well with Tau Firewarriors IMO.

Re: seated command suit

I like the idea of the mini drone platform, but now you don't have reason to have the pilot body with that inclination, and aslo the left leg, better to me kneeled on the drone!

Re: Found an old Skaven project in a tub - time to Aux them.

Why don't you convert the ork aux like the design from Lord Dirk? It could be a good choice for your auxiliaries, however why the hats? They are not so sci-fi. Probably better with a gas mask or visors IMO.

Re: seated command suit

Now with the new legs position the suit is more natural! Nice the BG of the tea ritual, but at that point I'd have changed the position to prevent the sand wind to the pilot in a curled up position or a position with a big cross section to improve the drag to the sandy wind!

Re: Ukrainian battlesuits

Mmmmm.. Good work from Wargamesexclusive but I don't like so much those battlesuits and let me show my reasons: Legs: as you can see its legs are different from XV8 and XV9 legs.. Do you remeber them? https://i.imgur.com/DUKDfI7.png They are small with lower parts mounted behind the joints. These ne...

Dear Onos, WOW your alien camels are really monstrous (in a positive way) and your pathfinders are an inspiration, Team leader seems to be designed on the artwok. Is it true?

Personally I think it is a waste of time. If you glue the cockpit there is no reason to paint the inner part because something painted is somthink to show for me.

Re: Farsight Enclaves ... road to a playable list !

Dear vom, I am a fan of weathering and chipping and your is really good!! I like so much also the camouflage on Ghostkeel and drones, really homogeneous!! But I have a doubt: why didn't you use the Real Farsight sensor head? I've seen the Farsight sword and the shield, so I imagine that you have the...

Re: seated command suit

Mmm.. I don't understand the pose IMO, don't feel bad but I think that Tau battlesuit are not designed to sit down. They are war machines and they are designed to combact, fly, shot, walk, but i think not to sit down. I understand the link with the samurai Shogun seated pose, but in this way I think...

Really awesome job, maybe one of the most beautiful thread about Tau modelling!! All that unique battlesuit!! I see your last battlesuit perfect as commander or unique model! (and if yor are reproducing it in mass I'd like to have one of them). What plasticard thickness have you used for the surface...

Re: Magnetized Enforcer suit "Deffblade"

Nice pose and nice model, also the painting is good, really clean. I don't like so much the sword, maybe too long or too "plain". You can scratch some lines on the surface to represent different plates. Maybe this should add a more tauish style to that weapon.
