Re: Necromunda/shadow war: tau rules

Indeed- I'm extremely excited about it and when it arrived in our store it seemed to excite the base who all seem to want to get to grips with 3-4 different 'gangs' which is really getting us all out of our army 'bubble' (as much as I love Tau I actually want to play Space Marines for the first time...

Re: Tau close combat & 8th Edition

I understand the concern of close combat getting streamlined in 8th and from what I've seen (the merest of glimpses mind you) I would be more concerned with how devastating ballistic output is going to be. With bolt weaponry receiving an overall -1 to armor saves that means that a volley from some s...

Re: Necromunda/shadow war: tau rules

Sure- my mistake- there's been posting of leaks of books and wd's before and I didn't think it was a big deal, no need to hammer down.

It won't happen again Por'O Lyi'ot.

Necromunda/shadow war: tau rules

Hey everyone, Got to look at the rules today. Working from my phone but I figured I could upload them here before I reorganize when I get home, Link to photos removed In summation, I think this is a really good look at 8ed in action. The unit information has all the details on a card rather than a c...

Re: 8th edition

Remember it's still speculation at this point. They've dropped a few bombs and I bet are waiting to see how the community handles it. I would imagine that strength modifiers would allow for variety amongst different weapon layouts that 'just' AP denies any kind of variety. With entire rules on cards...

Re: 8th edition

Yes that's what that means. I asked more about this mechanic and it basically means you'll have more of a card or page for each unit that you have which will have all of it's rules (and what those rules mean/do/behave) in a single place. More conversations indicate that there is going to be updates ...

8th edition

Hey everyone, Been a busy night but I've got a heads up on the next edition. There have been rulebooks circulating for a few weeks now and while it's been tempting to say something it would have probably have been rendered speculatory, but; this evening at Adepticon GW is making official announcemen...

Re: Which sept world is Shadowsun from?

True- there's just a lot of current BL writers that muddy the waters a little bit with mentions of other Septs. Honestly, I figure she's from T'au, it makes a lot of sense and, you're right, the GW paint scheme would imply she's most certainly from T'au. With her other sisters that were high-ranking...

Re: Which sept world is Shadowsun from?

Or, perhaps Shadowsun is part of a society within the Empire that travels constantly. We know the Tau arent specifically long lived and that there are Fire Caste stationed within the Kor'vattra. The Kiru family could have been one such collection of Shas. This could have been a further reason for Au...
