Re: [3D] My printable 3D parts

@Kae'lyn

Heya man, nice stuff. Just a curiosity question, what software do you use for modelling? Parametric or one of the generic polygon software like blender or max?

Firewarrior squad(well almost, 5 guys, 1 short of legal)

Nice to get something done once in a while. :) Another 5 should be done somewhat soon as well, I'm really digging the look on these guys, they just look right, to me at least, and that's the best thing I know about painting miniatures. :) http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h289/kronork/Tau/TauFw3.jpg...

Re: Mainly a Titan Thread

Head looks good Shortsonfire. :D If I may suggest for cutting up the hammerhead, use a "rounded" hobbyknife blade, and instead of cutting, use the blade with the dullside towards the area you're cutting to, so that you use the sharp end to "score" the plastic, you'll notice the e...

"Target aquired, intruder battlesystems deploying in 3,2...

Been away a while, lotsa work lately so I've been busy. Anyway, I did get something done. :) Camo works nicely on these titans, I switched to metallics, with a dull finish, saves me time, and still looks "tech" enough for me. These are gamining miniatures so overdoing it with NMM wasn't a ...

Re: How Ironman convinced me that Flamers are brilliant weapons.

It amazes me how people views can be so different. I took 35 people Friday and not one of them, NOT ONE, said they didn't like it. I am even going again tonight because I thought it was so great. To each their own I guess. Well, clearly you're a Marvel Fan, judging from your site, I think your intr...

Re: Gallery - Jutami's Eldar army

Hey, thanks for the positive feedback guys. :D I think what does it for this army is a combination of a theme that gives a lot of wow effect combined with the ease of painting it on eldar tanks. Trying this theme on a rhino for example would be a pain, since the surface has a lot more height differe...

Re: [WIP] Tau Sniper Drone Team Spotters

Great colorscheme. ;) Very nifty looking sniper spotter you got there, the bases are very nice, like the foliage and stuff. Good idea with the manhole for one of the spotters too.

Re: "I Will Be Your Tomb!" True Scale Chaos Marine - major wip

Hmm, "I'll be your tomb"?? Does he mean to incarcerate whoever he kills within his armor, or what does the Chaos marine mean by that exactly? A tomb is a place where you bury the dead, I don't see how the chaos marine, without the ability to be a pit or hole, will be able to accomodate a d...

Jutami's Eldar army

Well, it was a bit of a struggle to get it done, but it's done. :) Well, not much to say really, on to the pics. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h289/kronork/Eldar/army2.jpg http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h289/kronork/Eldar/Eldararmy1.jpg HQ Autarch on bike http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h28...

Re: How Ironman convinced me that Flamers are brilliant weapons.

Heh, too bad the movie was utter crap. The tech stuff was cool, the rest sucked. I won't go into spoilers either though. I wasn't disappointed by the movie though, it was just what I expected, maybe a bit worse than I thought it'd be but anyway. I just thought I'd pop in and say that just because fl...

I think they are nice, could have a bit sharper edges and some direction of light on them, they are a bit "soft" IMO. :) Great stuff anyways. /thumbs up

Re: Why do drones flee?

I see no reason for drones to not flee. Tau have enough programming skills to allow them to be more creative in thought that your average automated vacum cleaner(which could probably be programmed to flee these days). It's just about using resources smartly, to ensure that drones don't get wasted ne...
