Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 26/03/17]

These where going to be Cassor and Moriar... But I didn't really pay enough attention to their war gear. Cassor has upgraded to twin flamers rather then the base options he should have and I feel Moriar needs to be more ornate.... So I guess I'll just have to get another two at some point! http://i4...

I get around a bit, lol. To get feed back these days you have to hit up as many forums as possible I find. FB is getting better, but it's just to much unfiltered opinion to be helpful I find. I just stay out of it... for now. :fear:

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 10/03/17]

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 10/03/17]

Cheers man. I keep meaning to go back and touch up the skin, but as I have signed off in my head I keep avoiding it... I'm almost done a with a few tanks for my BA's... Then I'll have about 30 Terminators to work my way through after that.

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 10/03/17]

I finally got around to painting a few editions I got for Christmas. I may go back in and work on the flesh tones a bit more They don't show up well on camera and are a bit darker than my usual.... I'm not sure that matters but the fact they look so bad on camera is upsetting me! http://i457.photobu...

Re: A'kish Research Defence Initiative (Project Log)

Lol I get paranoid about decals I use micro set/sol on all mine, over a gloss coat, then sealed in with more gloss, followed with a matt coats to tie it all in... It's also why my current Tau are all free hand it just seemed like less work, lol. :D

Re: Babies First Army: And you can too!

The purple dry brush on the ethereal looks like a nebula pattern from the front... Very mystical. I also feel your pain, it takes me longer to workout what colours (and placements of them) I'm going to use then it does to actually finish the unit!

Re: Glue - plastic & magnets question

I find a drill bit that matched the size of the magnet make a hole with it by hand (because I'm an animal) then add super glue wait for it to set... lightly sand away any over spill. If you need to the magnet to be hidden dill a touch deeper then cov...
