Wow that colour scheme really pops! It really sits nice on that Cadre Fireblade.

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 09/10/17]

They look good! those new necromunda models are great. Oh, just an FYI about nerf guns, if you want it to work well and look good once you've painted it, separate the two halves and spray it inside and out. it stops the colour leaking in on the joins. Tau'va Yeah man that's the part I'm most nervou...

Re: Ironsky's desert operations Cadre: Gue'la WIP3

I love the idea of this unit but I'm sure I'd not be able to make them look half this good even if I took more time over it! I can't wait to see them all painted up.

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 09/10/17]

Trying some different colours on these took some working out as they where very muted military tones. Normally working from bright colours and having to darken and mute them my self made working with these colours a very different process! https://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery2/gallery/d/64343-2/Golia...

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 09/10/17]

Thank you. I think the new Dorn model would also suit this gold. I don't have any Ma.K models yet as they are hard to come by over in the UK and there's so many versions of kits it's hard to know what your looking at. One kit is a relic collector edition that's super rare, the other is just a cheap ...

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 09/10/17]

I must admit I'm quite pleased with the range on this page I've really been pushing my comfort zone over my latest projects to better test my abilities and learn. Being a Member of Lincoln Wrights Paint on Plastic patreon is paying off in dividends. As much as I don't use lacquers or a 101 weatherin...

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 09/10/17]

My latest edition to my own armies. I had to have him in my collection but I also had to make him fit in better with my Blood Angels. https://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery2/gallery/d/64309-2/SDC18350.JPG https://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery2/gallery/d/64312-2/SDC18351.JPG https://www.ageofstrife.com/ga...

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 09/10/17]

It seems like forever since I finished a model... I know it hasn't been but I usually work at such a quick pace it just feels odd! I have more for the Space Wolf commission army https://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery2/gallery/d/64287-2/SDC18309.JPG https://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery2/gallery/d/64284-2...

Re: nix0n's "Battle Worn Cadre" [WIP log]

I'm a big fan of a blue lens for natural colour palettes. Red would also work on these if you wanted them to standout more, but would look a bit more on the sinister side. I'm not so sure that greens, yellows or purples would sit well. I think yellow is too close and will clash. Purple would work be...

Yeah it's well worth the trip. I'd love to live more local and game there more often. The exhibition halls are amazing and well worth the modest entrance fee.

Re: The return of the Darklighter [WIP update 09/10/17]

Yeah a friend bought me that Grombrindal model last time I was at Warhammer world and as we are planning another trip soon-ish I thought it best I get it painted. I've always loved the Slayer models, but as they were all metal and not very good on the table I never bothered... I'm not sure I'm as in...

I've been going through my back log of personal models and found these two; Grombrindal in his prime https://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery2/gallery/d/64208-2/SDC18152.JPG https://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery2/gallery/d/64211-2/SDC18153.JPG https://www.ageofstrife.com/gallery2/gallery/d/64214-2/SDC18154...

Re: Image Hosting Options

To be fair I've made friends with a quiet forum admin and started to use them for image hosting. I've been wondering but have no skills to achieve it, if setting up a forum like domain space just for image storage and linking would be workable... But I've no idea if that would be cost effective.
