Re: Vior'la Sept retaliation cadre WIP

I really like that model. The Grim Skull / Wargame Exclusive Tau models definitely add character to an army. The detail is really fine and crisp too.

Re: [WIP] El'mos return to the Greater Good - Stormsurge

Tetras on a proper flight stand really improve them, I think. Rather than just sitting barely above the ground like stock.

That Riptide is so clean, and has such a dynamic pose. Very well done.

You have some of the most effective looking cloaking effects I have seen painted on models. The bright transition really sets it apart.

Re: Demorte's Tau Cadre - Project Log

It was hard to tell before it was painted, but these images make it readily apparent - Those chest intakes are sitting a tad high on the chassis. I'll have to make a note to bring them down. It looks like about 1mm height difference, is that correct?

AdeptiCon Roll Call

With AdeptiCon just a few short days away, I'd like to get an idea of how many of our members are headed down. A convention like this is a great opportunity to put some faces to the names of ATT. I'll have a name tag identifying me as AgentArrow so if you see me feel free to say hi. If you're going,...

Yeah, I've seen those. He emailed me copies when he made them for my input.

Beautiful complimentary scheme. Very much a fan of the gentle weathering you've got going.

Oh no!
What kind of airbrush is it? Iwata and Badger are both pretty good about standing behind their product.

Re: Gue'la Mobile Infantry Company

Good to see in the flesh. What kind of glue are you using? Some work better than others, but I've found super glue to be fairly universal for 3D printed objects.
Aside from the multi-part arms, does everything else fit as desired? Have you had a chance to try out the single-piece arms?

Re: Arrow's Fio Log: Building the Arrow Pattern XV8

The large round and oval are bought from Elrik's Hobbies, the 25mm bases shown I made myself from chunks of a Devilfish kit. I have some WIP 25mm bases from Elrik's as well which I have for my yet unpainted AdMech, and to swap out some of the more bland bases on these guys.

Re: Arrow's Fio Log: Building the Arrow Pattern XV8

Every time I put brush to model I curse myself for choosing white and vow to never again play a white army. After about 10 minutes I get into a groove, and then when I put the model down I'm very proud of the result and deem that the pain was worth the outcome. This then repeats when I grab the next...

Good to hear there was no issue. Their customer service tends to be really good about those kinds of things. One bonus is that during their investigation they discovered an error with my file which I was able to correct. Nothing big, but it should print better in the future.
