Re: [WIP] Nitro's Cadre

@ Amis I tried a "thin" white line, but I think I'm to old for such lines (my hand trembles too much :) ). No, just kidding, but the effect I got with pure white (and also warlock purple with added colours to highlight it) went terribly bad. Think I'll keep it that way until I have a more ...

Re: [WIP] First color scheme of my cadre

OK, after a long time I finally managed to get my Firewarriors ready... Here two pictures to get an idea of the models: http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj69/Spreepirat_Lothar/Warhammer/WH40k/TAU%20-%20For%20the%20greater%20good/Feuerkrieger_2.jpg and http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj69/Spreep...

Re: [WIP] First color scheme of my cadre

Thanks for the input!!! I used an airbrush for applying the colour for the vehicles. Start by basecoating them white (Skull White). Next step airbrush the whole modell with Bleached Bone. I skipped preshading the models as I want to use a "hard" contrast later on (preshading is spraying th...

Re: Status Cards

OK, I finished Version 1_1 so far. I will send the file (pdf; ~750 kB) to Tael for final judgement...
Please tell me any further idea that could be possibly implemented to improve the useability of the stat cards :)

Re: [WIP] First color scheme of my cadre

Hi!

Thanks for the input! I finished the lenses in purple; the colour fits smoothly with the colour scheme. As for the bases I want to try a desert scheme and model bases lookink like a dry riverbed. As I am in the process of finishing I will soon post some pictures.

Re: Status Cards

@Ell'ran: You can use one card, that should be enough... BC and Fusion Blaster as well as Wargear can be noted on a single card (wargear etc. under "additional notes", 3 lines for weapons). For drones another card an be used. For spots are for "wounds". It can be neglected when u...

Re: Status Cards

Thanks for the feedback. @Amis: -Not sure if it really is useful - statline part. Stats are in summary sheet in the middle of Codex (last b/w page, before colour section), and has every unit's stats on one page. I know it was main idea, but other than that I find it might be useful. Statline: I woul...

[Resource] Status Cards

Hello! I created some status cards for ATT. If you like them you can use them for games. The background is that I can´t always remember all the numbers and values (due to my age, as the young ´las tell me...). So I like having a unit card for each unit on the field... You can print them out, finali...

Re: Particle's WiP + some finished

I took Revell paint remover/cleaner. Anything with alcohol (probanole, isopropanole) will do it...

But there are various brands.

Re: Particle's WiP + some finished

Hi! For the fog appearing after using varnish... was it humid (raining or so) when you used it?!? I had to learn it the hard way that varnishing with high air humiditiy is an absoluto No go.. :::( I had success removing a little of the "effect" using brush cleaner... Just dip your brush in...

Re: [WIP] First color scheme of my cadre

Hello! Back after some time.... First thanks for all the input! I´ll try to answer the questions: @ Samuraioshovas: I taped the camo scheme (tamya offers nice tape that works perfectly) @ fallschirmjäger: I used Revell "Hellblau" (light blue, matt; # 36149) Well, here some shots of my litt...

Re: [WIP] First color scheme of my cadre

OK, so I got some time to start my Kroot... Here are some pictures. They aren´t quiet finished, still some leather to be painted (and bags and stuff like that). http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj69/Spreepirat_Lothar/Warhammer/WH40k/TAU%20-%20For%20the%20greater%20good/Kroot_1.jpg http://i269.phot...

[WIP] Nitro's Cadre

Hi! Just a first glance on the color scheme of my army. I will try to add photos, but it will be a slow progress. Comments and critics welcome :) Here's a shot of my Hammerhead: http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj69/Spreepirat_Lothar/Warhammer/WH40k/TAU%20-%20For%20the%20greater%20good/Hammerhai_1...
