Re: Converted Kroot Hounds?

I have bought the Spined Hounds from Zealot and although they are nice models they are a direct replacement in design for Kroot hounds and they work out slightly more expensive per model than GW (£14.99 for 3 compared to £15 for 4) plus they only sell them in batches so you need to be quick and get ...

Re: T'au sept colors and future sub factions

The basic answer to this is they are your models and you can paint them any colour you want ;)

If you are trying to stay true to the fluff then there is no real reason to think that one Sept will be tougher than an other once the codex is released.

Any goods sent from outside of the EU are subject to import fees. These may not always be required as it depends on the declared value of the delivery.

Re: Kavaal Korst'la'sha'is

Thanks to the new Photobucket contracts coming into force this week I have now had to renew all the links to the photos with a different hosting site... I would rather spend the requested 399$ on my plastic addiction ;)

Apologies for the short period of time with a lack of t'au goodies :(

Re: Alternative free image hosting site suggestions

I have just been hit with the photobucket extortion racket for a new plan costing 399$ (P500) to do 3rd party hosting too. I will not be taking them up on their kind offer and am in the process of downloading all my photos to my hard drive after which I will be closing my account. Luckily I am a mem...

Re: 3D print extra parts: Stormsurge, Riptide, Piranha, ...

Mine was rough rather than the smoothness you get with plastic but it was more of a speckled finish rather than ridges. You could sand it down with fine grade wet/dry paper if you wanted to but I did not bother.

Re: I'm afraid of painting Tau tanks.

I have found the easiest option is to use a spray can. Either Army Painter or Tamiya are good with Tamiya being the better but most expensive. It comes in small cans but 1 will do a couple of Devilfish Tamiya color spray cans These cans of spray paint are extremely useful for painting large surfaces...

As impressed as I am with the work you have done Gragagrogog it does go off topic.

Re: [WIP] El'mos return to the Greater Good - Stormsurge

Well GW sell a pack of 4 failcast models for £15 and you are limited to just those poses so as a collector it was not too bad a deal to be able to add a bit more variety to my pack. I now have 14. Being a modeller rather than a gamer I am not too worried by stats as when I do game I tend to go for f...

Re: [WIP] El'mos return to the Greater Good - Stormsurge

Thanks guys :) I found an alternative for Kroot hounds and just had to get some. The models are from Zealot Miniatures.com and where available as a limited run of 250 units which looks like they have now sold out although they do tend to restock them every so often (this is the 2nd 250 unit run I kn...

Re: DIY improved hammerhead flying base

Thanks for taking the time to show us an alternative method to basing the Devilfish/Hammerhead.

It seems to have worked well for you and using 2 of the large flying bases is a great idea for those of us who have a draw full of them ;)
