Hahaha. People had hope.
1. re-roll failed to hit rolls if they have if they have not moved this turn
2. the Warlord can advance and shoot as if it had not moved
Relic- 1 time per game, you may re-roll a single hit roll, wound roll, or damage roll for the bearer or a unit within 6". Also each time a stratagem is used by opponent, roll a d6 and if a 6 is rolled, gain 1CP
Stratagem- use when an enemy unit is hit by a marker light, gain d3+1 markerlight counters next to the unit
A relic that saves me 1CP on a re-roll and maybe gives me another CP or two in the game.
Warlord traits that are always-on single model versions of Kauyon and Mont'ka
A Stratagem that I would use like every single shooting phase ever.
A mixed bag. No idea what the source is but seems credible and in line with the leaked stuff for other factions. Not great, not going to stop us all wanting our Codex ASAP. I would still use them.
The real big deal in the book for Tau will be the points changes. If they are roughly in line with what happened with the Eldar Codex it will make a significant difference.
Not quite sure what to make of the new scenarios yet. The one spitting your army into 3 could be weird but whether it works well for Tau may depend on how the 1/2 reserves rule applies to that scenario (if it does). If we can Manta strike in a significant force to exploit a partially deployed opponent it would give us a good counter to those armies that fill their entire backfield to block our deployment tricks.
