Another Gue'la has seen the light of Tau

Greetings fellow Taucticians! :fear:

Having recently returned to WH40k from a five-year hiatus with a newfound interest for the Tau (I collected Dark Angels and the Imperial Guard back in 4th/5th Ed) I came across the site while doing research (apparently a lot can change in just a few Editions!).
Figured I'd make an account to say hello and to voice my appreciation for the veritable trove of Tau related knowledge in here that I used when designing my own army.

Looking forward to serving the Greater Good! :)

EDIT2:

Real first name:
Heikki

Age and gender:
24/M

Location:
Tampere, Finland

Occupation:
Unemployed

How did you get into wargaming?
Through a friend back in upper grade school.

How did you get into Tau?
Who doesn't like Battlesuits?

What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player?
Stay out of melee. Seriously.

What is your Tau colour scheme?
Green camo armor, beige cloth, red squad/sept markings (Fal'shia). Very Cadian-esque.

How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member?
Doing research on Tau after my 5-year hiatus from 40K.

What are the origins of your ATT username?
Slightly tweaked Japanization of my last name

Have you reviewed the ATT Membership & Forum Rules?
Yes

Where and how often do you usually play?
Pretty much wherever and whenever I can find people to play against.

Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system?
Dark Angels and Imperial Guard

What has been your least favourite army to play against?
Frag Missile in every squad and on every hardpoint Space Marines while fielding IG.

What is your best and worst 40K moment?
Best: Swatting aside a Talos Pain Engine with my counts-as-Straken IG commander
Worst: Fielding the aforementioned IG army mostly without heads. Kept failing nearly all my to-hit rolls too, maybe it was karma?

What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'?
Several of my friends and acquaintances used to play 40K, not fully sure where they stand now.

What are some of you other interests?
Video games and everything computer-related.

Do you have any pets?
Grew up surrounded with cats.

What is your favourite band?
Sabaton

Actually there's more to the 'mandatory' than that, but your Gue'vesa and so we'll forgive you this time! PS You're not 'Gue'la' anymore! ;)

Indeed, welcome welcome :) Good to see more folks to get stuck into 8th edition along side all the veteran Tau players.

Should be interesting times ahead, thanks for coming aboard the 'Orbital'
