How did you get into wargaming?
I've been interest for years but it's only in the past 2 years that I've been able to afford to get into it myself. I mainly just used to play with friends that had excess models but it's definitely nice finally managing to build my own army
How did you get into Tau?
I was originally going to get some craftworld eldar but decided on Tau as they fit my play-style more. Plus, who doesn't like mechs?
What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player?
The meta is cool and whatnot but it feels better (at least to me) to have an army that you think looks cool.
What is your Tau colour scheme?
Dark green and bits of white for highlights.
How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member?
Mainly trailing the internet for Tau news. I've probably been lurking for a couple of months now, since the run up to 8th started
What are the origins of your ATT username?
Blinx the Time Cat for Xbox/PS2. It was my first runescape username about 10 or so years ago.
Have you reviewed the ATT Membership & Forum Rules?
Where and how often do you usually play?
About once a week, mainly at a local independent table-top store but also at friend's houses.
Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system?
Nope, just my Tau
What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against?
Probably Dark Eldar for both. They're deliciously squishy but annoying fast.
What is your best and worst 40K moment?
Railgun, 1's to hit, always. ALWAYS.
What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'?
My wife's view is basically 'As long as you enjoy it'. Most of my friends have armies themselves
What are some of you other interests?
Path of Exile and coding mainly
Do you have any pets?
1 Cat named Molly
What is your favourite band?
A Day to Remember
