Missing a foot

I have dug up some old crisis suits that are in sore need of repair, however I seem to be missing a foot. Does anyone have any suggestions for a conversion that might make a replacement look like a battlefield bodge/repair?

Using the right paints you can make it look like it's stepping into water. :)

Lay it on it's back, add more damage and turn it to an objective marker.

Cut the whole leg joint, make it look like battle damage. Or ask some Tau player that's old enough to have spare from building old Broadsides.

If it fits the baseing of the rest of your army, hide it in tall grass. :P

Put some dead orkish or tyranid creature on the base, and make it look like your suit stomped it so hard that the foot buried inside its body. It's what I'm going to do with my next Stormsurge.

Some great ideas there. Though I have found the missing foot now :-)

You can also buy bits pretty easily off of eBay.
