Wow, that looks amazing!

I guess it was a whole lot of work, but the results speak for themselves.

Do you happen to be in contact with this individual or is it just copy+pasta from CoolMiniOrNot onto your blog? The reason I ask is I was curious if you could find out what he used for the plasma for the R'Varna as I have been contemplating using a couple of items such as acrylic nail powder to help with sculpting plasma but was not sure what he used.

Mmmmmmmm, happy tau moment...

Amazing display of the XV107 getting its cluster on. I like the color choices you made on the main guns. I had a lot of issues trying to set where and what "glowed" when it fired. Your example is spot on what I thought. I found a lot of good visuals for XV9's that helped.

What material did you use for the blast they look amazing. I also really like the way that the weapons appear to be in movement.

As the blog says, the plasma is acrylic and water effects.

and I too spent a lot of time trying to figure out the lighting without overdoing it. The number of layers on those weapons was... time intensive.

i almost put shields on it but as the blog says I thoght that would have been overkill.

Beautiful work, the SFX are immaculate. I also like the subtle texturing effects. It really is evocative; a weight of fire power being unleashed.

My only critique; select weapon components having the same or similar colours to the rocket contrails. Wonderfully graduated, but just looks odd.

Thanks for posting this piece! :D
