As a cople of fellow advanced tau tacticians have requested I share with you some pictures of my Farsight Enclaves Sept, Fior'Serra (or Fior'Erra as it could end up being called for linguistic accuracy)

This is a sept colonized by humans colonist that left Terra from long ago in the past arrived there and stayed hidden from the Imperium of Man until the T'au grew strong and they decided to joing forces to defend themselves. More onn their story can be found here https://goo.gl/MJ1FbQ
So here there will be human Fire Warriors, human Stealth Suits, human XV8 and even a Human Commander eventualy.

Confirms my thoughts that I really don't like metalic armor plates on T'au and that I don't like the wargame exclusive models mixed with regular models. :D

Anyway the color scheme looks good when a whole unit stands together and if you like them this way, that's all that counts. ;)

Somebody with sexy Shadowsun! Look at that! Nice work with the army.

You have something that looks like a Ghostkeel with a drone for a head! Could we get some more pictures of that?

Really cool! I love the idea of an all gue'vesa tau army. I just started tau for 8th and that is my plan as well.
I was thinking about the farsight enclaves as a paint scheme. I had an idea to include shadowsun in the army, as a possible conversion. I see you her. Can she be included in a enclaves army?

Right now and as far as I know there are no special rules or restrictions for the FsE. Either way during 7th edition you could use her as an alien detachment with a group of Stealth suits. To be honest I have her more because I like the model than to play het but now in 8th edition she is good in the battlefield.

Either way thanks a lot for your comment.

Definitely normal head. Never liked Drone-head conversions.

Update with the finished conversion of an Infinity Iguana into a Tau Commander. Magnetized to exchange jetpacks for the and up to 3 equipment options on arms. This is the first one of the new set of custom decals made for the army. It will take some time to give them all the army badge and extra details.

Your paint scheme looks pretty sweet to me, and I like all the infinity model conversions. Could you take your photos from a little farther away though? I like how you're going for sweet dynamic shots, but it's hard for me to actually see the models very well. You're so close that your camera can only focus on a small portion of the models which leaves a large portion of the models very very blurry (your fire warrior pictures are the most obvious example).

Personally, I think the pictures of your WIP on the XV9 hazard suit much better than the others because the entire models is in focus and I'd be curious to see your entire army from a similar distance.

Ooooh that's sexy. Is it a proxy for something, terrain or just a pretty display holder for your firewarriors?

How'd you do the bullet holes in the base?

Thanks! Well it is a terrain piece a command center that has a back entrance. I use it for both things you have said both, a display holder for my army diorama and also in theme games with a couple of Tidal Shield lines. The bullets were molded on its casting in the pressure pott.
