I really like those alternate Firewarrior helmets and legs - although it must get hot under all that in a desert environment. Presumably the Earth Caste engineers have figured out how to incorporate personal cooling elements into your Cadre's combat armour design.

Thank you so much Peregrim!!! Of course, the cooling system is a good solution, but consider also that, following my BG, on the planet there is a hot zone always hit by the light and a zone never enlightened, the cold one. On that environment (the cold zone) the Firewarriors must be operative in "winter" conditions, for this reason I've realized them in that equipment.

During these days I've finished the other two models for my squadron:

What do you think about these two Soldiers?

These are all such class! Can't wait to see a group or two completed, their unique characteristics makes them really interesting pieces to look at.

For Calmsword: They come from what remain from plastic sprue, the intakes come from space marines jetpack nozzles!

Here a pic of the first veteran painted:

For the cloak I've used brown colours and I tried to realize a weathered leather cloak.

What do you think?

Hi to all ATT!!!
I've been far away from here for work and university, but sometimes I've time to work on my Tau and to post something! And I'm glad to see that the site has a new (WONDERFUL) restyling!!! It is AMAZING!!!

Now it is time to post :fear: :fear: :fear:

I've worked on some small models these days!
From my previous cadre I've sculpted three ethereals (I don't know if do you remeber them), two male and one female, I've saved only one of the male (the best sculpted), I've done a small restyling and I've added under his feet a drone (like the new ethereal model from GW).

I've also added a sort of club/cane to his left hand. For the painting I've tried to realize a weathered leather cloak in order to represent an old ethereal warrior, I've weathered also his club and some plates on him.

Then I've worked on the first of the two honour guards:

The armour is painted with a scheme similar to my Fireblade, I've added also a cloak similar to the ethereal in order to give them homogeneity.

What do you think? Comments and critiques are always welcome!!!

I love your work but I have to say that last bearded Honour Guardsmen really brought a smile to my face.
