Gmail is quite good actually, I totally understand that you don't want to create a million accounts and forget the passwords; you can replace an existing secondary email that you don't use often; or ask for one of the mod's email via PM and send it as a attached file.

Yeah I was hoping one of the event staff/mods would contact me with an email address to send my entry to... I'll pester them individually tomorrow if I've not heard anything back by then.

Even cutting my painting short to meet the deadline, I've still got to finish the white on three models, and then flock, static grass and base edge on all 6 models. Once done photography is required for 2 pictures for the unit entry.

Busy night tonight !

6? I got just one done, and without any terrain in the area to get a good picture so the background is lousy cardboard.

At least it's a battlesuit so a team of 1 is legal (at least homebrewing legal)

I have also submitted my entry. Good luck to everyone!

There are many things around a house that can be used for makeshift scenery in a pinch. Naked metal cans can double as containers or silos, and bushes or potted plants as jungle or forest background. If you are a little bit competent with photoshop or gimp, a white background can be used as a chroma to add some custom background. It's a shame you have cut it so close, or I would have given you some tips.

That reminds me of the heady days of plying on the floor on my old flat. Using old video tapes as mountain ranges and canyons and bottles/cans of pop on boxes to make industrial complexes... Man the good old days!

My entry has also been sent just awaiting confirmation... Fingers crossed it's all formatted ok!

My entry is only infantry, so 6 is not much :)

EDIT: I just PM-ed a link to my entry however the PM is just sitting in the Outbox and not transfering to the Sent box. - Panic over, it just means it hasn't been read yet (helps if I just search the forum :( )

PM Agentarrow with the links to your files. There should be a PM button under the first post on this thread. :)

Yea, guessed that it might be him.

Not that I could win. I had to really rush the job, everything from the model itself (shoddy greenstuff), to the painting (lousy painting) and even the picture (phone pick, no proper background, no proper lightning). real world evens meant I only started this Wednesday...

Still, participating for the sake of participation is fun. I wonder what others have made (and if some people by sheer coincidence made the same thing :P)

I have not had a chance to review all of the entries yet, but if you sent me a PM, I did get it. We have quite a few entries and just a few hours left for stragglers. Anyone on the west coast of the US, or the Pacific Islands, this is your final call.
I will compile entries over the weekend and post the voting on Monday.
Good luck all!

"quite a few"?
How many are we talking about here?

Did we go insane enough to build a full stand-alone codex worth of stuff?

On another note, in order to prevent people from having a conflict of interest that may subconsciously affect them, perhaps it is for the best that one would not be allowed to vote for himself?
