I don't know about the phpBB system and its structure, but that may be done by tweaking pages templates so the poll <div> container show only when logged in (like the PM and Quote buttons under each posts are).
Or change the poll header to work like a "Spoiler" tag.

Maybe Tael will change this behavior on the incoming new site.

I don't have access to those kinds of things, it would have to be an administrative change. I'm also not a master of HTML, and definitely not of phpBB specifically.

Well it is now, as my vote count seems to have gone in reverse. While I understand why this has happened, in future could the vote count be hidden until the results are in? This is slightly disheartening.

At least (as of the time of this post) every entry has had at least one vote. When we did the Riptide contest a few years back, my submission didn't even get 1 vote, lol. It could be worse.

I've been there. I was distraught when I entered my first ATT challenge. Looking back I certainly did not deserve votes compared to the other entries, but it hurt at the time.
You enter, and you get a little better every time, and then eventually you'll win one.

Honestly, I'm a bit supersized I got any votes at all considering I rushed the model, rushed the painting (literally did it on the last day, personal issues kept me until then), didn't get a proper picture and to top it off managed to botch the rules section with a game-braking typo XD

A shame really. I might have had a shot at some of the cool stuff if I had the time to properly make my creation.
Guess I'll have to wait to next time. (just don't take as long as it did from the riptide contest :P we need these kind of cool events more often)

Lol I know how you feel. I shouldn't have entered really given my recent head injury but I felt I had to push my self to help in my recovery (same as in the gym, I'm trying to enter my first strongman event). Every weeks was a struggle to stay on task and maintain concentration, but I strongly believe it's helped in my cognitive functions and pushed me past the point of just getting by each day... I've even taken up the mantle of Games Master again to further push my ability to deal with fast paced creative thinking and follow through with an over all story arch without getting muddled up.... I still wish I'd had a few more days maybe a week to get my entry looking as nice on paper as it does in reality.

Sorry for what may seem like a sob story, but it is intended as a thank you for all the event organisers and the community for giving me the push I needed to move on in my recovery, it means a lot to me.... Thank you everyone.

These are all really great entries and I've also very much enjoyed looking through everyone's reviews and discussion. This is an awesome event that I feel has really brought the ATT community together. It's great to see so much inspiring work in one place, my only disappointment is not having entered myself :D

I'd also like to add that this contest made me a actually finish a project- I don't know about anyone else, but that's hard enough to do. It's been fantastic to be inspired by other people's work and to see the community thriving in this way.

I'm looking forward to more community events.
