Axioma_TAU´s Vior´la Sept

Hi to all ATT members!!

This will be my little contribution to this forum . :)

Recently, I´ve bought some T´AU models (new models and second hand also) and I decided paint it them as Vior´la warriors.
I changed the color scheme slightly, adding more red in some parts, and erasing the golden parts of the GW Vior´la pattern.

I hope update this often.

I´ll show you the WIP miniatures and the finished miniatures. I´ll point this status (WIP/FINISHED) in the pictures for some C&C.

Thanks in advance. Hope you like it!!!

Looks like a good start so far! Nicely painted through out with some good little conversions thrown in!

It looks like you have the upper legs of Commander #2 the wrong way round (left leg to right hip, right leg to left hip), not sure if that was for better posing options, it just looks a bit odd at first glance; apart from that it all looks great!

Looking forward to more

Hi, Ironsky!! Thanks for your comment!! :)
Yes! You are right with your observation, I switched deliberately these parts of the legs, because with this pose it looks better (at least for me... hahaha) and let me more a slightly bigger angle for moving and repose the arms with the weapons joined.

Really beautiful models you have there!
I really did not expect them looking so fantastic while beign mostly painted in one monotone white color

I especially like the devilfish posing! Absolutely beautiful job.

Keep up the great work :)
Cheers!

Hi again!!
Too much time from the last update. Sorry folks :::(
I´m working on some other projects here and there, but this year I really wanna focus in my T´AU army again.

This time, I want to show you my Aun´Shi.

I don´t like the original miniature (too much static for my taste). I saw a very good art of him, this one:

And I wanted to try convert mine like this.

I cut the miniature in two, and worked basically with the upper body: torso, arms and head. I sculpted legs and clothes...

...and finally I painted it in a Vior´la scheme

Hope you like it!! I´ll update soon with more stuff!! :fear:

Thanks TauGeorge!!! :)

I also want to add a small update. I changed the base on my Commander and now its a 60 mm size, like the official.
I took the opportunity to add some more details on the base and touch up small details of the miniature painting.

Hope you like it, folks!! :fear:

Update!!

Hi again!! I traded a couple of XV9 with a friend several months ago, and these last weeks I decided glue and paint it.

But, the current aesthetics of the XV9 don´t like a lot, therefore I decided convert mi XV9.

I wanna a XV9 with dual fusion cascades. I thought that a shield generator in this dude could be useful, making longer his life expectancy :P
So I´m glued the two fusion cascades join, and build a gun structure with stabilizers for the right arm using a burst cannon bits and plasticard.
I´m also removed the shoulder wings of the XV9 and added two XV8 thrusters instead.
In the holes between the shouldes I added the front part of two pulse carbines for represent the photon casters (for this reason, I painted the barrels as if they were blue optical lenses, instead paint it like black barrels).

I´m also converted four drones, with my own version of shield generator drones. I called it "crab pan drones" and I converted it with the upper part of a hammerhead´s burst cannon system, and the lower part of a Pathfinder´s burst cannon drone.

Hope you like it!! :fear:

Nice work. Quite a striking colour scheme. Always like conversions, seeing something different --well played! :)
