Dawn Blade 1850 All-Comers List - Getting Back Into the Game

Hi all! I am a returning player to Warhammer 40k; I played the game for pretty much the entirety of 5th edition, and about 90% of that was playing as Tau. I recently got back into the game and have spent the last month or so wrapping my mind around 7th edition and have developed the following as sort of an all-comers list to re-acquaint myself with the game and with the faction:

I will admit that I'm not sure why every Tau list I see online has Early Warning Override, but I've gathered they're essential based on the number of lists I've seen running them. Otherwise, I have tried to craft a list with a diverse array of threats that can generally attack and damage almost anything to one degree of success or another. The Riptides, Crisis Suits (including commander), and Broadsides all deal with opposing infantry and MCs while the Piranha Firestream focus on destroying opposing armor and deploying gun drones to harass scoring units and infantry. All of the foregoing are supported by 20 markerlight drones with the general purpose of increasing the effectiveness of my shooting phase. The Kroot exist to bubble-wrap the Broadesides and Riptides. The Riptides are all Farsight Enclave models, hence the bonding knives.

Based on what I've read elsewhere on this site and others, I gather that it is generally accepted that Riptides are equipped with an ion accelerator and either plasma rifles or fusion blasters, but I thought the heavy burst cannon would be more appropriate since I have 7 extremely mobile fusion blasters for anti-armor.

All that being said, I'm very open to the thoughts, comments, and suggestions of the community.

Early warning overrides allow all the weapons on the model to have interceptor. this is useful in many lists, especially all comers lists, because deep strike is common now. However, with only a single twin-linked weapon on each suit, it means that if they choose to intercept, they can't fire in your shooting phase. what I am fond of doing is putting two seperate weapons on my crisis suits, to make use of their multi-tracker as well as having another weapon to fire during my shooting phase. this practice is more expensive, but I find it is worth it in the long run.
