Battlesuit Party Theory List

Hi guys!!! I haven't been very active for the last while, because i've been working on this particular theory list. This is a 2100 point 102PL battlesuit army with limited vehicles and drones. No troops, and plenty of dakka. This list is designed to engage armies of the smae size belonging to Tyranids, Orks, Astra Mil, Adeptus Antares, and Chaos. It features only three classifications: HQ, Elites and Heavy Support. So read up and enjoy!!!

. Broadside Shas'vre: Advanced targeting system, Heavy rail rifle, Seeker missile
. . Two plasma rifles: 2x Plasma rifle

Flamers auto hit even if you advance. Target lock can be swapped for something else.

Actually, it says nothing about hitting. I did that because it negates the penalty for advancing after firing a assualt weapon. A flamer is a assault weapon.

The penalty for advancing is -1 to hit, a flamer auto hits thus there is no penalty.

I guess the rest of the list is okay, Broadsides and Skyrays I would say are not optimal and I prefer not to mix weapons in a crisis unit, otherwise do what you will.

broadsides are actually grwat in 8th. Where are you getting the 'broadsides are bad' bit from???

It's not that broadsides are bad; its that they are not as cost effective as other units. For example, for the same points you could get 2 commanders capable of doing the same job far more effectively.

Because they are. Okay-ish at best. Just too expensive for what they do.

And he is right about the Flamer. When you advance you get a to-hit penalty. Flamers don't roll to hit, they automatically hit and thus ignore any to-hit modifier.

I like the theme of this list I have always played a battlesuit heavy list but here is what I would change

ATS not needed with HRR especially on plasma rifle suit, I'd swap either for target lock for mobility or with 6 missile drones take atleast 1 drone controller

although you can fire at different targets you will rarely have such a situation with both optimal targets in range also as mentioned drop target locks and drone controller here you want drones far back and flamers up close 9D6 Str 4 hits is nothing to sneeze at

again I'd keep all the weapons the same and that many missile pod would be insane so CIB for everyone.
Here is where I'd drop the multi tracker for a drone controller

. 2 flamers: 2x Flamer

you have so many markerlight on the field Multi-tracker is a waste, swap flamers for burst cannon and take ATS

That's my 2 cents, nice list and I love the idea I hope that the skyray gets some love in the codex because right now I don't feel it's value for points
