What does everyone thing Tau use as their caution colors?

Imperium/humans for example use yellow and black.

Well.

It's a good question. I remember tau can see uv spectrum. And that they are alien. It stands to reason they would put differing values on color then humans.

Humans caution tape is akin to a wasp. Yellow often in nature is a warming.

I painted a colony security force in my project log. Instead of red white and blue I use purple white in blue.

Perhaps green? A bright yellow green could be caution?

If they use "danger" stripes it must be two contrasted colors (dark and bright). So probably black could be retained (or other dark colors).

To help visualize the "danger stripe" idea, you could keep one of the two colors. Black, with maybe light green or blue.

So T'au is an arid world with browns and dust colors shown as good camouflage. Yellow doesnt really stand out against this so would be a horrible color to draw the tau eye.

As others noted high contrast is good for many reasons. So either tau use white against a dark shade or black against a lighter shade.

In artwork tau skies are shown as blue. As such blue shades are unlikely to be used.

So reds, greens, seems like good choices.

That said GW hammerheads in the 7th edition codex use a human yellow triangle danger sign.

I like these ideas.

Maybe a Khorne Red / Moot Green (Farsight/Au'taal) pattern?
