Probably because they adopt the sorounding are pretty much as cameleons do ?

If you look he stands on some camo-painted armour plate, probably imperial.

The hands are made from space marine power fists (i think you need one space wolf left power fist and one assault marine right powerfist) and very careful cutting. :D green stuff it a bit and just make it fit.

I believe that landing pad is a forge world model that is at the Glen Burnie Battle Bunker in Maryland. I agree that it looks rather cool. although it isn't mine.

Looks pretty self-explanatory to me --as long as you've got the bits for it. Seems to me you'd just need to cut up the two powerfists: assault marine for the right hand, and just about any open-handed PF for the left. Cut off three fingers and a thumb from each and place on the stubby tips of your suit's arms. Maybe a little plasticard and/or greenstuff to prep the area for the fingers and there you go! Of course O'Shatta would have to confirm, but it looks like a conversion that just about anyone with a hobby knife and a steady hand could accomplish. (No slight intended to O'Shatta as it's a great idea and still shows a good deal of creativity in its execution.) I actually might consider trying this on my next crisis suit when I get around to converting it.

Xeones, you are right on! Thank you for saving me the time of writing that up...You're spot on.

Yep, those space marine power fists are quite handy...(pun intended)

Though not exactly alike, planetstrike is yielding this one: PlanetStrike Skyshield Landing Pad Cheaper than The Forgeworld Variant which sells for a whopping £78.30.

I started out doing a skyline camo but didnt like it so came up with some fluff that says he just arrived in the battle area and hadnt had time to change his camo pattern.

Sorry to post such a silly question, but can any of you tell me where do the thigh guards for XVs come from (what model's sprue)?

I've been busting my head for so long and haven't come up with an answer till now, so please tell me.

Thanks in advance!
