I second the beamer. I've always liked your version much better than the "standard".

I also vote for the Lynx and Raptor.

Oh wait, those aren't weapons :)

Rifles and Pistols for my vote. I don't know how well those sell, but I can say that they mod great. The dimensions match existing Tau weapons perfectly.

How about an 'Upgrade-Kit'?

Including:
- One Head
- One Round-Tech Shield
- 4 different weapons
(I guess the banners are to delicate for this)

Actually, I second Che. Makes the most sense.... one sprue upgrades one suit with a few extras.

A robot/mecha "upgrade" type sprue is basically what I am looking at. The question is which of the parts are most desired to fill that sprue.

Another aspect is that I will likely end up having to redo the 3d files to accomidate the way plastics are done and it'd be an ideal opportunity to make changes to or update the designs. So I could possibly add more details or alter the style a bit. Is there anything on the exsisting designs that jumps out at you that you'd like to see done slightly diferantly?

Additionally several of the weapons only have an underslung design, such as the autocannons and beamer. Would you like to see versions of them that didn't have an underslung mount and could be directly mounted to arms, shoulders, etc?

(new non-underslung options might not be plastic, but I'd be able to do them in resin)

Keep in mind that I don't get offended by suggestions or people disliking certain elements, so here's your chance for honest feedback. I take any feedback good or bad into consideration, the worst I'll do is not use a particular idea.

I would definitely love to see a conversion kit with more posability on our XV8s. Also, digitigrade legs would be a sweet look, as our Riptides are rocking this, but our XV8s still have very rigid, straight legs unless you engage in jiggery-pokery.

Okay, a more detailed "Wishlist"

Mech Soldier Upgrade Kit
- Mech Soldier Head
- Tech Shield
- Mech Hi-Tech Banner (if Possible)
- Mech Auto Cannon (Underslung)
- Mech Single Laser (Underslung)
- Mech Beamer (Underslung)
- Heavy Flame Thrower (Underslung)

Or
Mech Hero Upgrade Kit
- Mecha Commander Head
- Tech Shield (Maybe this one then with more details or even in a little different shape)
- Mech Hi-Tech Banner
- Mech Dual Laser
- Mech Pistol
- Mech Gizmo (a not yet in your store existing piece of wargear)
- maybe a Hi-Tech Mech blade?

Hands for 54mm mecha and rifle/carbine/pistol versions of most of the weapons would be nice.

I would suggest a sprue for the arms, containing a universal forearm piece for each side, with one each of the underslung weapon systems and a shield unit, for options. Then a sprue of one commander head and 3 soldier heads. Finally, a frame with back/shoulder mounted systems (Banner, MP, Long Barreled RG, maybe an upgraded ABFP looking piece?) should satisfy.

A brief pause on the plastic discussion...

One of the things I love about modelling is that even when you are looking at familiar parts random inspiration can strike and you see stuff in a new way.

From random pile of parts to a federation style fleet scale ship.

Now that my random brain surge is done, back to thinking about plastics :)

Anything that allows more conversions and uses is okay by me. You have a great selection on the store, and I'm not terribly picky.

That being said, a larger selection of handheld weapons would be nice. I'm a fan of bullpup designs, and weapons with a bit more body and stock variation would keep more guns looking interesting. If you had a different body for the beam and projectile weapons, for instance, I could easily mix and match barrel, body, and stock (alongside various bits). But I'm not sure how profitable those weapons are for you anyways, so I don't know if you'd consider it worthwhile.

I second this.

EDIT: I just wanted to post something I did with Paulson's Rifles and Pistols recently. I apologize for the quality, but I only have a cellphone camera and Photoshop:

I've been quite busy in my mech bay of late and things have been piling up as a result of my labors. Tech shields are stacked to the ceiling and their storage crates have started bursting open. They're sliding all over, banging into sensitive equipment and scuffing the fresh mecha paint I'd just applied. I sighed a bit and said to myself I'm on parts overload here I need to do some serious repurposing of equipment, then I broke out the fusion welder.

This is probably a really dated reference but I'm getting a serious Batteries Not Included vibe working on these disc shaped AIs.

The computer I use for work got a virus and died on me which is pretty bad timing. I need to replace it ASAP, which means I'm holding a sale. Enter Christmas in the discount code section when checking out and it'll take 20% off.

The sale will run until I raise enough to pick up a new desktop, it'll likely run for the next 2-3 weeks but may end sooner depending on the volume of orders.

The NorAm Lynx pretty much done. (Medium class mecha)

Any thoughts or comments on the model before it's off to print?

Shown next to a raptor for scale. Raptor is 65mm tall, Lynx is 75mm tall.
