Shielded missile drones are a waste of points. Bring a bunch of shield drones instead for the same points and better protection.

Coldstars would pair better with the y'vahras to be able to fly around and grab objectives. If you want regular manders, bring at least one fusion commander.

I think you are seriously lacking bodies in this list, but it'll roll over some lists for sure in the mid tables.

Three Y'vahras at 2000 points will be a lot for some lists to handle!! You should think about adding some units that can take, and hold, objectives. Let's look at just the core of the list:

HQ - Coldstar Commander w/ Shield Generator, ATS (150)
Fast Attack - Y'vahra w/ Target Lock, ATS (415)
Fast Attack - Y'vahra w/ Target Lock, ATS (415)
Fast Attack - Y'vahra w/ Target Lock, ATS (415)
Fast Attack - 6x Pathfinders w/ 6x Markerlights (48)
Fast Attack - 6x Pathfinders w/ 6x Markerlights (48)

At 1475 points this is already a lot of firepower! There are a few things I think we should add though- first, a Fusion Commander, a Missile Commander, and a bunch of Drones.

HQ - Commander w/ 4x Fusion Blasters (160)
HQ - Commander w/ 3x Missile Pods, ATS (156)
Fast Attack - Tactical Drones; 4x Gun Drones, 2x Shield Drones (48)
Fast Attack - Tactical Drones; 4x Gun Drones, 2x Shield Drones (48)
Fast Attack - Tactical Drones; 4x Gun Drones, 2x Shield Drones (48)
Fast Attack - Tactical Drones; 4x Gun Drones, 2x Shield Drones (48)

Here's what the full list would look like:

-

HQ - Commander w/ 4x Fusion Blasters (160)
HQ - Commander w/ 3x Missile Pods, ATS (156)
HQ - Coldstar Commander w/ Shield Generator, ATS (150)
Fast Attack - Y'vahra w/ Target Lock, ATS (415)
Fast Attack - Y'vahra w/ Target Lock, ATS (415)
Fast Attack - Y'vahra w/ Target Lock, ATS (415)
Fast Attack - 6x Pathfinders w/ 6x Markerlights (48)
Fast Attack - 6x Pathfinders w/ 6x Markerlights (48)
Fast Attack - Tactical Drones; 4x Gun Drones, 2x Shield Drones (48)
Fast Attack - Tactical Drones; 4x Gun Drones, 2x Shield Drones (48)
Fast Attack - Tactical Drones; 4x Gun Drones, 2x Shield Drones (48)
Fast Attack - Tactical Drones; 4x Gun Drones, 2x Shield Drones (48)

Total: 1999 - Command Points: 6 (3 Outrider Detachments)

-

Basically, we swap the CIB Commander for a more long-ranged Missile Commander, then substitute the Ethereal and the Shielded Missile Drones for a large number of weaker Drones. The Drones give us tactical flexibility- they can guard the Y'vahras or Commanders, they can take objectives, they can tie up shooting units, and they can even pick off infantry models- each squad should be capable of killing 2-3 Guardsmen or other weak infantry per turn.

What do you think?

in terms of capturing objectives. I believe that because the yvharas are monster creatures they can take objectives.

Capturing objectives now is purely a numbers game. Troops now have obsec again so you have to outnumber your opponents on the point OR outnumber their obsec troops with YOUR obsec troops. Granted, the best part of the Coldstar is he goes and grabs objectives that nobody is on because he's stupid fast.

It's a numbers game, but... unless they have huge mobs of conscripts (which I admit is a possibility) the Y'vahra is going to obliterate whoever's sitting on those objectives. Sure it might be bad at holding objectives, but it can take them really, really well.

Just to add further analysis to above:

1) Definitely worth having a cold star as your warlord, purely for priority orders received
2) Shielded missile drones not worth it
3) Perhaps consider a second fusion-mander, those things do work
